A "Little Remondini Lady" at the Bassano del Grappa Carnival

On the occasion of the 2026 Bassano del Grappa Carnival, the tradition of Grafiche Tassotti paraded in a completely new, masked guise. Captivating both the jury of the Bautina d’Argento Award and the public was the "Little Remondini Lady," an extraordinary costume worn by young Matilde and created entirely by her mother.

This work is more than just an aesthetic homage to the beauty of our prints; it is a true masterpiece of craftsmanship. The dress was created using exclusively Tassotti papers with Remondini patterns, expertly cut and folded through the complex art of origami. 

What touched us most was the profound sense of belonging these patterns continue to awaken in the hearts of Bassano’s citizens. As Matilde’s mother wrote to us in a moving message we are pleased to share:
“What moved us most were the compliments from the people, the looks of wonder, and above all, the fact that so many recognized your paper immediately. Hearing people say, ‘But these are Tassotti papers!’ was truly special. I believe it is a sign of how much your work is appreciated, recognized, and deeply rooted in the history and imagination of our city”.
